So, u wanna play Dota? But you do NOT know where to start?
1st of all i play DOTA for fun n not competitively. Here is the step how to start playing DOTA

1. You need to have WARCRAFT III ( Frozen Throne EDITION ) installed in your computer.

2. If You Dont have it, you can download it from BTjunkie.org (Search for Warcraft DOTA). Btw, you need bittorrent.com to download it. OR BUY THE ORIGINAL from your nearest shop.

3. After downloading / installing into your PC, you need DOTA MAP, download it from

4. After getting the DOTA MAP, put it into your warcraft download folder such as

C:\Program Files\Warcraft III Reign of Chaos & The Frozen Throne\Maps\Download
C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\Download

5. Start your Warcraft game n choose SINGLE PLAYER MODE, CUSTOM GAME and CHOOSE THE DOTA MAP

6. Start Playing Your Game?

7. So You wanna play DOTA With Vs. Computer HERO ( Ai HERO)? Download This AI MAP

HERE, n put it into the same folder, start playing the game n choose the map.

8. There you are, happy playing DOTA!!!
